At approximately 9:09 a.m. Thursday, Citizen user @zeze broadcast footage of a large police response near the 1900 block of Flatbush Ave. Preliminary reports from NYPD officials have indicated that the woman was fatally hit by an MTA bus. Officers believe that she was holding onto the doors while the bus was in motion during an attempt to get on or off. She jumped off soon after, only to be hit by a pole and struck by the bus.
