A total of 25 people were arrested and 32 summonses were issued at Wednesday night’s protests in Manhattan.

Despite these incidents, the protests were largely peaceful as they moved from Midtown down to Washington Square Park. 

Details on each of the arrests were not immediately available, but NYPD officials were able to provide some details regarding the most major incidents. 

At the march near Washington Square Park, police say a Brooklyn woman was arrested and charged with assault after she punched an NYPD chief in the face.  

Police say that a Pennsylvania woman was arrested after she spat on an officer. She was charged with harassment and obstruction of governmental administration.

A Brooklyn man was charged with criminal mischief for breaking a window of a commercial building. 

The NYPD [tweeted](https://twitter.com/NYPDnews/status/1324188115813150722?s=20) that they had confiscated several weapons from people at the protests, including a stun gun, several M-80 firecrackers and two throwing knives. 

Police say that the knives were taken from a 16-year-old girl.

Most of the people arrested were issued desk appearance tickets, and were not taken to central booking. They will be arraigned in court at a later date.
