My father was a transit cop in nyc , he beat it into my head to never train surf, To not walk in between cars while moving and importantly always keep my back to the wall while waiting for the train,so some nut won't push me into the tracks. Besides that every different scenario of death ,always taught and quizzed me on all ways to stay alive. If a car went off the road or bridge, what to do in case of fire, when the ocean gets riptides. I could go on but you got the message. Due to his advice and quizzing me, he's kept me alive in a few situations.
A father like that is what's missing from society today. Your Dad definitely lived up to the title. Give him a big hug and thank him for being the inspiration a lot of young people could use in their lives.
I genuinely dgaf anymore. Sad to say but if these kids CONSTANTLY see other kids DYING & They're STILL doing it...... ROCK OUT BRUH 🤷🏾
Yall gotta put it in the air that train surfing is PLAYED OUT. That trend is OVER
@weinhea Maybe the kids who’ve had close calls but survived could go talk at schools. They used to do that in the 80s for multiple issues… sometimes fear by way of their peers works.
@SurfinBetty nope they will just go oh hes an idiot I wont fall
